Lisa Squirrell  MA (Ed)              

Lisa is a specialist teacher with previous senior management experience. She has taught in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) for young children with Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), which also involved working in schools with pupils, staff and parents as well as co-facilitating specifically tailored courses. At present she is teaching in mainstream education. Whilst at the PRU Lisa was fortunate enough to have extensive training, much of which was innovative:

· NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner
· EFT Level Two Practitioner
· Massage In Schools Programme trainer
· Facilitation Training
· Social Stories (to aid children with Autism and other children with difficulties)

Lisa has been seeing clients of all ages since her NLP Practitioner Training in
January and March 2007. In this time she has worked successfully to deliver positive
outcomes for clients with a variety of needs.

Lisa has researched NLP and children with SEBD for a Masters of Education, in which she gained a distinction. The title: “NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) – A brilliant tool or a load of “Mumbo Jumbo?” Can NLP work with young children who display varying Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.” It was concluded that most definitely it can! Lisa then presented this at The First International Neuro-Linguistic Programming Research Conference, which was well received amongst the organisers, fellow presenters and delegates. She has also written articles from the research: an article for Rapport magazine (Spring 2009) and an academic journal piece from the conference.
