"I went to see Lisa when I was suffering from Post Natal Depression. I had reached a point where I had lost confidence in myself and found it very difficult to break the cycle of negativity. I needed to be shown a way out and had heard of NLP so thought I would explore further.
Lisa started by showing me simple breathing relaxation techniques, and taught me how to anchor positive thoughts and feelings. She taught me how to not let things get to me so much, and take a step back and focus on the positive things.
Lisa then took me through a session of EFT, which at the time I felt very silly doing but it made me laugh and that in itself is a positive thing, and the effects are amazing. She focused around a key problem area which I had asked her to help me with, which was my confidence and the fact that I felt like I was in tears most of the time, she made me see that I wasn't alone and a lot of people suffer with the same problems, and gave me the confidence to deal with the underlying issues. She also made me see that it would not last forever, and will get better, and that I have the power to make that happen.
What did I get out of this? I have now learnt to turn my way of thinking around from negative to positive, which will last a life time, and I feel great for it, such a simple thing but extremely effective. I still have up and down days as we all do, but remembering what Lisa has taught me helps.

I had struggled for several years with my putting in particular putts under 10 foot - you know the ones where if you can get 80% of them then you can knock several shots a round off your score. Having had a technical lesson to ensure that my technique was correct I still found myself missing those crucial putts. I decided to seek further help but on the mental side of the game and chose Lisa having had a recommendation about her work.
The session involved many different techniques including relaxation such as mind clearing / focusing exercises, visualisation tools to help me feel great and boost confidence around the course, anchoring methods to store great putts and the ability to retrieve these from memory on demand.
I found Lisa to be highly professional but with a warm friendly approach such that I felt completely comfortable with all techniques used. The end result is that I now stand over a putt thinking "this is in" rather than "I'm going to miss this one" and my handicap has come down from 13 to 10 as a result - enough said I think!!!
